IT Security Architect recruitment

UBS seek an IT Security Architect to join the global Security CTO team. The candidate should have a strong background in enterprise security, with specialist experience in one or more of the following technical domains: Identity Management, Authorisation and Policy Enforcement, Data Protection, Secure Design and Implementation, Secure Operation and Compliance, Threat and Vulnerability Management, or Security and Risk Processes.
The candidate will develop functional and technical security architecture and roadmaps, and work with project teams to see them through implementation:
- Work with and influence project teams and business contacts in regards to technology controls and risk mitigation techniques related to information security.
- Assist with the development and socialization of security standards.
- Lead efforts to enforce security procedures and standards.
- Enhance the security of existing technologies and develop roadmaps for specific functional security domains.
- Assist major programmes and CTO functions with the inclusion of appropriate security architecture and guidance.
- Provide deep technical analysis, market assessment and competitive intelligence to the Security CTO.
- Reports directly to the Security CTO
Requirements
- You will be a subject matter expert in one or more areas of information security.
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across project teams in a global environment.
- Must have a proven track record demonstrating a keen understanding of security as a business enabler.
- You must be prepared to work in a complex, diverse, multicultural and truly global team. Experience with financial services is beneficial.
- Some travel may be required occasionally
