IT Security Consultant
CIBER is currently seeking an IT Security Consultant in Eden Prairie, MN to develop and implement information security architecture for a commercial data center and applications being migrated into the data center. This will include policies, standards and procedures to secure and protect regulated and restricted data residing on systems. Work directly with Infrastructure and Business departments to implement procedures and systems for the protection, conservation and accountability of proprietary, personal or privileged electronic data. Responsibilities Include: Security Architecture Reviews: Assess business process, technology and information architecture at logical, system and component levels to understand the risk posture, apply critical thinking, determine the security models and co-design the system. Document and communicate security requirements and strategic roadmaps. Security Technologies: Evaluate vendor and internal products for security capabilities and integration into a service delivery environment. Provide architecture guidance for implementation. Design solutions that are in compliance company policies and standards. Work with the OII PMO project methodology and project managers. Experience in tiered application architecture and application development. Qualififcations: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. 2+ years experience working as an Infrastructure Architect in the Security domains. 3+ Years Operating systems security configuration knowledge (Windows, Unix, Linux, virtual architecture). 3+ Years knowledge and/or experience in web services, Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), identity and access management. 3+ Years Database security configuration knowledge (Oracle, SQL). 2+ Years experience in working with Data Center consolidation. Ability to work with remote teams. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
