IT Security Consultant/Engineer recruitment
You will be responsible for providing support in the formulation of network, technology, systems and information strategy and evolution plans while contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
In this newly created role, you will be rproviding analytical and innovative input to projects/operational support tasks as well as support negotiations. You will also assist in the transformation strategy for a network or technology discipline, and lead any specific deliverable on a small/medium scale project to achieve business benefits and manage budget, timescales and quality. In addition, your input will be required for cost/timescale solutions/options plus managing expectations in line with customer or business unit/line of business teams.
To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must possess the following –
- Degree qualifications in Engineering or Science or the equivalent
- Solid experience in the IT Security space in a technical or consulting role
- Experience with delivery in conducting security assessments and penetration tests
- Operational and deployment experience in Firewalls, Intrusion detection systems, compliance, monitoring tools
- Exposure to IBM, Symantec and/or HP Security related products
- Systems integration experience
