The GECC Security Education Leader will work with GE Capital Businesses to provide consistency and criteria of security roles across GECC globally. This role involves interfacing with senior GE Information Security Leaders, Business Contacts and Human Resources to ensure recruiting, training and development align with the overall Security Program's mission as well as meeting business and regulatory requirements and standards. Essential Responsibilities The Security Education Manager will be responsible to lead and drive Information Security compliance to policy across GE Capital. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: - Enforce GECC security standards and compliance globally - Establish consistent qualifications for BISLs (business information security leaders) security roles by liaising with the Capital business Security Leaders - Drive and manage global team certification and training programs across GECC - Partner with external boards, partnerships, benchmarking and councils to keep the security program in step with best in class recruiting and training practices - Proactively work with Human Resources and GE Corporate to fill security roles across GECC Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor s degree (or a minimum 4 years of IT experience, leadership) - Minimum 3 years of information security experience Eligibility Rerquirements: - Must submit resume through COS (Internal Candidates) or www.gecareers.com (External Candidates) to be considered for this job opening - GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
