The Role
The IT Security Manager is responsible and accountable for developing and leading the regional lT Security function and for delivering IT Security services with local focus and in accordance with the Group's global policies and standards.
You must be immediately credible with a successful track record of leading a distributed IT security team. This position calls for a strong, persuasive, strategic leader who understands operational regulatory risk control frameworks, information technology and security and will utilize that knowledge to implement an effective security campaign to ensure the overall risk and security position of TS stays aligned with business needs.
The IT Security Manager provides leadership to the Regional IT Security team and acts as a key member of the Regional Risk and Security leadership team in support of TS Risk and Security and the Groups' initiatives. S/He is responsible for IT security across.
their regional Technical Services area. S/He is potential 2nd In Charge (2IC) as part of the succession plan for the Regional Head of Risk Security TS Asia.
Your Profile
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Information Technology with at least 5 years specialized in IT Risk and Security control area. He/she must have demonstrated leadership specific to technical information security issues as well as an understanding of the financial services industry business processes and regulations and show a high level of communication skills are essential to successfully translate technology and security requirements into business terms and influence senior business and IT leadership on a regional basis.
You must have the ability to deliver under extreme pressure and be self motivated and be able to motivate staff, particularly through a period of significant technological and business change.
