IT Security Operation Analyst/Manager – GPC – AVP (Mid to Senior) recruitment
We are looking for a IT security operation analyst/manager to be part of a new team in our Singapore Office. This role works closely with the global security teams in Europe and reports directly to the head of Global Command Centers (GCC).
Strong communication skills is required to successfully steer meetings and key to forging good relationships with teams from different regions. Stong analytical capabilities in dicing statistics/Data on Vulnerability Management Services, Intrusion Detection Services will be a key focus area.

Overall responsibility of Vulnerability Management Services (VMS), Intrusion Detection Services (IDS), Logfile Management Services (LMS) and War Dialing globally.
Scope:
• Management responsibility over one SOC staff based in Singapore.
• Setting and improving standards and processes to efficiently manage all SOC services
• Run and manage the service and governance meetings
• Face off global stakeholders groups which includes IT Risk, TIS and vendors
• Escalate to SMEs and senior IT management on critical SOC issues and incidents
• Cross region and on-call support outside office hours for ongoing workflow transactions.
• Monitoring, measuring and managing workflow of discovery of vulnerabilities and resolutions.
• Scheduling scans and be in regular contact with vendor and stakeholders.
• Knowledge transfer in SOC team, reporting on metrics, KPIs and scorecards.
Department Overview
Security Operation Centre protects the Bank from reputational damage and potentially significant financial loss by ensuring that the Bank's technical environment is protected from IT Security attacks and vulnerabilities at all times.
The operational management of SOC is established within GPC and is structured on these disciplines: Vulnerability Management, Intrusion Detection, Log Management Correlation, Modem War Dials and Firewall Quality Assurance. User access controls are not part of the SOC scope of works.
IT-Risk and Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS) will drive the strategic development of SOC to ensure continued protection. The SOC is part of Global Production Control (GPC) within TIS and is responsible for coordinating all security operations in conjunction with IT Risk and other TIS departments. TIS engineering and operations teams will investigate and, as necessary, remediate any security issues identified by SOC. The SOC provides an IT Security governance role across the globe together with IT-Risk.

The SOC manager should possess the following skills:
• Ability to perform detailed data analysis where large numbers are involved
• Highly organized and able to operate within a matrixed organization.
• Broad experience with the multiple aspects of IT infrastructure
• Able to operate under broad guidelines, familiar with ITIL concepts, service delivery orientation.
• Tertiary education in an IT related discipline.
• Knowledge in IT Security - VMS, IDS etc.
• Work in a global environment across regions, timezones, language and cultural constraints
• Exposure with large global Banking and Finance IT environments
• Strong influencing skills
• Good understanding of audits and controls.
• Strong mediation, facilitation and presentation skills
• Ability to act independently
• At least 10 years of experience in an IT support environment with people management.
