IT Security & Risk Officer recruitment
Person shall be responsible for:
- Proactive monitoring and assessment of IT applications to ensure that the availability, integrity and security of IT systems are maintained over the Asia region;
- Architect, design and delivery of security solutions for a large organisation;
- Risk management regional applications and processes;
- Own all the activities and escalations related to IT security to ensure that the organisation's IT systems are protected;
- Prevent improper disclosure, modification, or destruction of business information or denial of service through the use of technological safeguards and appropriate control procedures;
- To minimize operational risks and risks of fraud by implementing regular and sufficient controls;
- Provide input for IT Risk and Control Reporting;
- Report the progress/activities for the prudent governance at the regional level.
Pre-requisites:
- Person must have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience;
- Must have "a good level of understanding and experience" in IT security e.g. security frameworks and standards; secured network design; e-channels; secure web services; payment systems; penetration testing; security mechanism for various operating systems, databases, web applications etc. to be able to lead the responsibilities successfully;
- Understanding of IT architecture principles, design patterns and standards for IT security;
- An exposure to managing IT security for a large global operations involving global complex IT infrastructure, inter-connected mission critical systems, highly regulated environment etc. is desired;
- Must have understanding of security controls required for secured systems/applications;
- Must have good understanding of best practices in IT security and Risk Management space;
- Excellent inter-personal skills and experience in managing stakeholders from across the globe.
