IT Senior Auditor Job in Miami 33126, Florida US
The IT Senior Auditor is responsible for planning and conducting a risk assessment and manages audits through its completion as well as performs the exit meeting; will identify control deficiencies during the audit as they relate to the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information and recommend corrective actions or internal process improvements. Reviews, verifies, and reports on the soundness and adequacy of information technology controls as they relate to the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information. Will also build and perform audit procedures, including reviewing and analyzing evidence and documenting processes and procedures and will assist in directing, training, planning, and scheduling audit functions. IT Senior Auditor leads and directs the work of others and may provide audit guidance, training and/or assistance to other IT Audit staff members in the Department.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with emphasis in MIS, Accounting, Business, or Finance or other related field. Minimum of three years of Audit experience required. IT Audit experience preferred. Must possess excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written and communication skills. Experience in Network administration is preferred. Enterprise resource planning application and business process experience, in an implementation or auditing role desired. Experience in databases is preferred. Certification in Networks, Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), and/or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus. Must be customer service oriented and be accustomed to taking an active role in executing audits under tight timeframes.
