IT Service Delivery Manager / Support Manager

The Company

Robert Half Technology is working with this leading international investment banking organisation which offers services including investment banking services, including securities underwriting, financial advisory, mergers acquisitions, equity sales / trading, fixed income, derivatives, asset management, and private equity investments to clients, to identify a talented IT Support / Service Delivery Manager for the London office.

The Role

The IT Service Delivery Manager / Support Manager will take primary responsibility for two key areas, to include partnering business units to review process and identify systems needs (including the research, evaluation, and proposal of new technologies solutions) and the organisations systems networks to support business users in London. The Service Delivery Manager / Support Manager will be required to establish the IT strategy and IT budget annually; ensuring standards and direction adhere to global group policy. This is a critical hire that will provide vendor management and vendor selection services for the London organisation, taking a key role in coordinating and managing the implementation of core network infrastructure, systems administration, troubleshooting, system backup, hardware/software installation, and the provision of desktop support services. The successful Service Delivery Manager / Support Manager will monitor and manage all systems implementations, and be responsible for the overall quality of technical services and overall user satisfaction. The Service Delivery Manager will communicate with end-users, liaise with consultants, and manage vendors to ensure compliance with the needs and prescribed standards / performance expected at the organisation.

The organisation are looking for an IT Service Delivery Manager / Support Manager will a in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience); solid experience in systems administration and end-user support; knowledge in design maintenance of a sophisticated networking infrastructure, as well as router and switch configuration; a strong understanding of Windows Server, Cisco Call Manager, VPN and Intranet; and ITIL service management. The IT Service Delivery Manager / Support Manager will have exposure to financial services, ideally commodities / trading related experience, and have a sound appreciation of working with external clients and connectivity. At this level, the IT Service Delivery Manager / Support Manager will be expected to be a team player with well developed presentation, communications and interpersonal skills.

Salary Benefits
£50,000-£60,000/Annum + Bonus Benefits
