IT Service Delivery Manager

A Service Delivery Manager role has become available within a large, reputable organisation to be based in their Botany office.

Within the position, you will be the main interface between operational IT services and the customer and will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing delivery of operational IT services, the quality of these services, and their alignment with business requirements and customer focus.

You will be in control of defining, documenting and implementing a framework for structured service delivery management, managing the testing required for new IT products, managing outsourced service delivery and ensuring effective management of change, capacity and configuration planning.

The role will also include providing advice and guidance on planning, scoping and managing IT service delivery, and where required facilitate service related workshops, meetings and discussions.

The ideal candidate for the role should have experience within a similar role, including:

• Demonstrated experience in planning, designing and implementing IT infrastructure projects

• Substantial experience in engaging and supervising external consultants and service providers

• Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent relationship building

• An understanding of the transport and logistics industry

• ITIL Foundations and tertiary qualifications in computing

• Structured service management, including ITIL and other ITSM methodologies, e.g. COBIT
