IT Service Desk Support / Engineer – Zurich recruitment

Swiss Private Bank that is looking for a talented graduate with under three years commercial experience to join their technology team. The initial position would be as IT Service Desk Support / Engineer. My client is looking for a candidate that is determined and ambitious enough that they will have achieved promotion with a two year period.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES :

• Receipt and analysis of technical and application user requests

• Self-coordination and monitoring of assigned user problems

• Troubleshooting and instigation of any workarounds (First Level Support)

• Educating users about the proper use of the offered technical and application funds

• Creating user identifications, release of access permissions, and manage user accounts

• Planning, installation and configuration of Windows clients, AD Active Directory and printers

• Proactive information to customers about faults, scheduled interruptions, etc.

THE MAIN REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE :

• Solid IT users and Microsoft client operating systems and software knowledge.

• IT service desk experience.

• Good German and English, spoken and written.

• Active Directory, ITIL knowledge is an advantage.

• Friendly personality with client-and service-oriented behaviour.
