A global software services and consultancy firm are looking to significantly increase their share of UK market and require an experienced business development manager to make this happen.  

My client is a global software services and consultancy firm with a strong focus on technology and enterprise solutions across a variety of sectors - predominantly banking and finance. They have a unique business model that allows them to deliver innovative solutions quickly and efficiently - offering application development, testing and maintenance solutions. They have quickly gained kudos in the market for their skills and are now looking for drive their UK business forward with the hire of an experienced business development manager.

The successful candidate will develop and bring in new business in the UK and later Europe. This will be a 360 role that will see you being hands on through the whole process from lead generation to presentations and later account management. Being the focal point for business development and building this team up from scratch, you will be important figure in the business moving forward. You will be responsible for strategy along with senior management and setting out roadmaps as to how this can be implemented. Coming from a strong track record in large (multi million) software services sales you will have exposure to one or more of the following sectors; banking and finance, automotive, telecoms, retail.
