The Systems Administrator will provide : - Desktop Support (Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7) - Server Support (Microsoft Windows Server 2003 2008) - System Image Development/Deployment - PC Gaming Support and Configuration - Microsoft Active Directory Administration There is a tremendous mandate for positive change in the world, a change to the way that we interact with each other, with our environment, and with the systems that support us. Consultants hired into GBS Public Sector will typically be located in an IBM office or at an IBM client site primarily in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In many cases, relocation to the Washington, DC area is required is not reimbursable. However, we do have opportunities that require residence in other strategic locations in the USA . While most projects are in the DC metro area, Consultants must be able to travel to projects that are in the DC Metro area and to those projects located outside the local area. Some projects do require up to 100% travel for an extended period of time that is generally Required * High School Diploma/GED * At least 1 year experience in as a Lead Windows Systems Administration; System Administration of Windows Desktops and Servers (Server Version 2003/2008, Vista, and Windows 7) * U.S. citizenship required * English: Fluent Preferred * Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology * At least 1 year experience in Hardware Technical Support of x86 Desktops and Servers, Desktop and Server Image development, and Deployment, and remotely sup-porting Desktops and Servers * Security clearance of Secret - Active * Certified in Microsoft MCP, CompTIA Security+ IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
