IT support analyst - financial services, Guildford, desktop support, helpdesk, 1st line, 2nd line
IT support analyst required to join a Guildford based financial services technology business to offer support to internal and external users. My client is an established yet growing business with major financial client such as investment banks using their trading technology.
By integrating with 3rd party systems, my client has become established in a niche area of trading technology and is continuing to grow at a rapid pace. This is an exciting time for the company and they are seeking a candidate that can grow with them and develop the skills and business knowledge to move into senior positions as they arise.
Your day to day duties will include the following:
* Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
* Implementing and supporting in-house and 3rd party systems including some other top trading systems that integrate with my clients own software
* Supporting internal and external users via the helpdesk
* Liaising with developers to find way to improve the systems and stop any re-occurring issues
* Offering out of hours support - you will be compensated whilst on the rota
* A small amount of on-site work where required
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
ü Live in the Guildford area or no more than a 30mins commute
ü Have a degree level education in a computing related subject
ü 12-18 months IT support experience
ü Experience working with Windows and Microsoft products
ü Strong communication skills
ü A desire to forge a career in financial services technology
