IT SUPPORT ENGINEER Job in Brussels 1000

Our client, an international law firm, is actively looking for a Support Engineer for their Brussels’ offices.


Mission and responsibilities:


The Brussels office is seeking an IT support engineer. The department is very professionally run and relatively small and works closely with our offices in the Netherlands. IT operations follow ITIL standards and our infrastructure and software are state-of-the-art.

 

 

Reporting to the IT and Program Manager, your responsibilities include:

·         handling all IT requests and ensuring second-line support in a competitive environment with direct end-user contact;

·         listing, analyzing and interpreting problems in order to find and implement structural improvements and optimize system availability and performance;

·         managing the computer farm, from installation until the replacement of computers and peripheral equipment (scanners, printers, multifunctional devices), ordering material, following up on orders and repairs;

·         planning and coordinating local ICT activities;

·         ensuring general on-site and administrative network management;

·         working with the central IT department in the Netherlands on general improvements, the roll-out of office-wide projects, and maintenance of the ICT environment;

·         updating and maintaining professional skills in order to maximize your own knowledge and optimally apply it within the organization.
