IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer - Network / Desktop / Server / Social Media

To be considered for this role the IT Support Engineer will have at least 5 years commercial experience in a broad range of Windows environments, including;

• Windows Server 2000 - 2008R2
• Windows Desktop XP/W7
• Exceptional knowledge of MS Office Suite 2003 - 2010
• A thorough understanding of DHCP, DNS and IP based networks is essential
• You will have demonstrable experience of Firewalls / Routers / Switches (ideally Cisco HP) Firewalls / Web Filtering / Anti-Virus, ADSL / Leased Lines, RDP/TS Server, storage devices, back-up and disaster recovery UPS procedures and Printers.
• Applicant must possess an excellent user support manner
• Excellent Outlook PST NK2 management - Hosted Exchange experience preferred.
• Proven experience of PC rebuilds from scratch, Profile Scripting experience.
• Telephony Nortel / Avaya BCM administration experience preferred.
• LAN Cat5e / 6 Structured cabling installation skills would be advantageous.

A background or experience of working with and developing Social Media for B2B and website SEO would be advantageous.

In addition to the technical skills, candidates will be self motivated, with a deep understanding of customer support.

A full UK driving license (3 points max) is required as visits to other Group offices may be required.
