We are currently seeking a talented application support/ financial systems support consultant for a Melbourne based IT company with products services used by major financial institutions across the world. This role would suit an IT support consultant or engineer from desktop to systems admin level with at least 2 years' experience supporting investment and/or trading applications in a corporate environment. If you have worked with products like; IRESS, Charles River, Linedata, Sungard, HiPort or DST- you may have what it takes!
Further useful skills experience:
- Good SQL Server experience with 2000/2005/2008
- Excellent communication skills the ability to work solo or in a team environment
- Knowledge around server Active Directory
- Some networking, backup web server experience
- Desirable experience includes; Linux or UNIX, IT/ CompSci Degree, scripting, other RDBMS understanding of financial market operations
- Challenging Technical Work + Client Facing Experience
