IT Support Technician Job in Calgary, Alberta Canada
Klohn Crippen Berger’s Alberta Group has an opening for an IT Support Technician in our Calgary office. This role is responsible for providing exceptional IT services to the Alberta Business Unit staff, working closely with the Calgary and Vancouver IT teams.
You will report to the Alberta Systems Admin and your responsibilities will include:
- resolving help desk requests from staff, primarily hardware, LAN and core software issues
- setup and installation of PCs, phones, printers and other devices, including software configuration
- asset tracking of hardware/software
- day to day management of Business Unit mobile phones and other technical equipment inventory
- coordination of archiving electronic files
- other IT related support as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- college diploma or equivalent in related field
- minimum 1 year technical experience in a networked Windows business environment
- communication and customer service skills, willing to learn and grow
- first-rate diagnostic and problem solving skills and approach with the ability to prioritize and organize in a fast-paced environment
- solid knowledge of Windows, PC hardware and common Windows applications (MS Office, anti-virus, etc)
- a team player with organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
