IT Technical Support Consultant (Brisbane) Job in Brisbane, Queensland Australia

You are a consummate professional and well regarded for your skill set, work ethic and exceptional IT technical and people skills.

Your charter is to provide a technical support role within the Brisbane business and to assist members of the global IT team in the delivery of quality IT services.

You will provide first-class support and services to internal customers in Australia together with the UK, Europe, Africa, America and Asia.

Your duties and responsibilities include (but are certainly not limited to):
• Day to day user support and management of all IT, Telecoms and Photocopier related queries for all staff, including staff working remotely on client sites.
• General administrative tasks including the set up of new users and password resets through to the set up and installation of IT equipment at new office locations across the business (local and remote).
• Monitor daily backups; manage asset database and software register.
• Continual liaison with the business in order to build positive working relationships.
• Call logging and management including regular liaison with IT hardware maintenance provider.

Ideally you will possess:
• A minimum of 12 - 18 months all round hands on IT support expertise (Levels 1 2 with 3 a bonus) remote and telephone support.
• Experience of supporting a wide range of desktop applications (e.g. MS Office, Project, Visio to name a few).
• A minimum of 12 months hands on experience on LAN and/or WAN.
• Experience of server set-up inclusive of Windows 2003.
• Awareness of working in a Lotus Notes client and server environment.
• Basic understanding of managing asset databases and software register.
