IT TECHNICIAN
TES is currently in need of an IT Technician for an ongoing contract position in Sarnia.
Responsibilities
- Deliver 2nd level technician support to all employees and clients as required
- Install and configure BlackBerry, IP telephones and voicemail
- Install and configure workstations for all clients
- Manage and maintain software standards
- Maintain software inventory
- Assist IT Operations Coordinator with network administrator task including, server administration and daily backup
- Interact cooperatively with Corporate IT
Qualifications
- College graduation in Computer Science with 4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Competent to work independently on all phases of computer operations
- Proficient knowledge of network, software and/or hardware
- Proficient knowledge of imaging and call tracking software
- Proficient knowledge of installation and configuration of engineering software
- Customer-oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
