IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

 

Responsibilities

 

·         IT Management - Install and perform repairs to hardware, softwares, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specification.

 

·         Helps in the maintenance of Server 2003(SBS, Exchange, Sharepoint   Services)

 

·         Configures new and existing PCs by installation of appropriate operating system,   software, etc. as outlined by guidelines and user’s specific job needs.

             

·         Keep track of IT supplies and equipment e.g. cables and adapters

 

·         Troubleshoot printers/scanners/copiers

 

·         Build and install cables

 

·         Helps in the maintenance of the company’s computer network.

 

·         Installs software upgrades on existing PCs.

 

·         Document systems

 

·         Works cooperatively as part of the team.

 

Qualifications

 

·         Bachelor’s degree related field

 

·         2-3 years experience in the field or related area

 

·         Knowledge of Networking

 

·         Experience with windows applications including Microsoft Office suite, antivirus applications, operating system installations and upgrades, and networked environment.  Prior troubleshooting experience preferred.

 

·         Any experience or knowledge in AutoCad would be helpful.

 

·         Demonstrates ability to solve problems and work independently.

 

 

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team oriented and creative thinker

 

·         Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
