Role : IT Trainer / SSP Systems Trainer
Location : St Ives - Cambridgeshire
Salary : £30,000 to £40,000 Pro Rata
Duration : 6 months

Role
As the market leading insurance intermediary and administration company, they are looking for a highly skilled SSP Systems Trainer to join their St Ives (Cambridge) based team for a 6 month fixed term contract.
You will be working with the project manager to ensure appropriate training packages are designed and delivered to maintain staff competency in new SSP (Insight) system processes. (Training 120 people)
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct full training needs analysis of staff
- Create and present solutions for identified training needs.
- Design and deliver full systems training for SSP using a variety of solutions including e-learning, classroom, train the trainer etc.
- Prepare appropriate training material for identified work streams and skill gaps
- Adhere to agreed training processes and procedures ensuring compliance with FSA Training and Competence requirements
- Operate within own area of accountability, proactively escalating issues and seeking guidance.
- Understand and apply all company policies and procedures to ensure service standards are met in accordance with SLA and FSA requirements.
- Understand business issues and recommend solutions to improve.
- Understand and apply all legal, regulatory, information security and compliance requirements.
- Understand and adopt a Treating Customers Fairly approach to all aspects of day-to-day work.
- Commit to own personal development.
- Provide support and guidance to others as required.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety policies.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and motivated trainer who can produce initial strategy requirements analysis, solution design, training delivery and evaluation. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the following:
Essential
- Design and delivery of training for SSP systems.
- Knowledge of E-Learning systems.
Desirable
- Working with INSIGHT version of SSP.
- Design of E-Learning modules.
- Training for the roll out of new systems in a medium to large company.
