Italian Speaking Accountant, Amsterdam

Our client, a leading international company is seeking an Italian Speaking Accountant in the Amsterdam Region to join their team.

As an Italian Speaking accountant you will be in charge of the financial statements and analysis as well as taking ownership of reporting, business analysis and reconciliations.

As an Italian Speaking accountant, your responsibilities include:

-Involved in month end closing for various entities
-Monthly account reconciliation and audit review
-Monthly balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
-Prepare and post journal entries.
-Payroll accounting
-Internal reporting
-Direct involvement in preparation of financial statements
-Perform weekly cash flow reporting and forecasting
-External reporting: preparation of documents, external auditors and tax advisors and tax returns
-VAT returns, statutory accounting and filing
-Assist in the integration of acquisitions
-Initiate bank guarantees when required
-Follow up on execution of audit responses

The successful Italian speaking Accountant must be a team player meet the following:

-Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting, i.e. HEAO BA or equivalent or qualified by experience
-A Minimum of 4 years in a similar role
-Fluent in English and Fluent/Native level Italian
-Ability to communicate at all levels
-Service and customer oriented
-Well organized with attention to detail
- some travel
-You must live in The Netherlands
