ITU NURSES NEEDED IN CENTRAL LONDON
Hays Healthcare are currently looking to recruit qualified ITU/ICU nurses, to work regular ad-hoc shifts in a reputable NHS Hospitals based in Central London

Job Summary:
- Assesses patients, plans and implements care in ITU
- Provides advice and maintains associated records
- Carries out nursing procedures
- May provide clinical supervision and managerial leadership to other staff, students
To be successful for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- At least 6 months current UK clinical experience.
-The ability to adapt to different hospital environments.
- Self-motivated, uses own initiative and excellent at making decisions.
- Able to work under pressure and respond effectively to challenging situations.
- Time management and effective delegation skills.
- Relevant critical care course and teaching course
- Whilst liver experience is advantageous, is not essential, the main focus is having critical care skills and experience.
Skills and abilities:
- Able to assess, plan, implement evaluate programmes of care
- Effective communication skills (written, non-verbal verbal)
- Able to function effectively as a team member
- Self motivated, uses own initiative and will make decisions
- Works well in stressful situations and able to respond effectively to challenging situations
- Ability to deliver the full range of care to a ventilated patient
