Harrington Starr is working with a Global Software Company who is looking for a J2SE, SWING, CORE Java, API, GUI, Java Developer to join their team based in London West end. You will be joining a team that specialise in building FX and Options Trading platform for the finance and banking community worldwide.
As the J2SE, SWING, CORE Java, API, GUI, Java Developer you will be assigned to 1 of two teams, either building their award winning FX Trading platform or the Options Trading platform team. The two platforms are built using J2SE, SWING, CORE Java, API, GUI, Java technologies and you must be experienced in this area. You will interact with other teams to develop, maintain and support the existing code base as well as spearhead and run Greenfield projects. As the J2SE, SWING, CORE Java, API, GUI, Java developer you will have good SCRUM and Agile methodologies and be able to work in a close knit team, good written and verbal communications skills will be essential.
Key Technical Skills:
* Experience with Core J2SE technologies
* Experience with SWING development
* Any experience with API programming
* Strong experience with GUI Development
* Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development) and agile methodologies.
* Educated to BSc or MSc in a Scientific, Numerical, or Engineering discipline.
