JANITORIAL SUPERVISOR WACO TX Job in Waco 76711, Texas US
Mature, well spoken individual to assist facility and customers maintain building. Responsibilities include janitorial, bathrooms, toilets, empty trash; recycle paper, dusting, mopping, light maintenance and general up-keep. Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties. Ensure that staff receives proper orientation, initial training, and ongoing education. Provides individual guidance and motivation to staff to ensure each employee is able to perform to his/her fullest potential. Inspects facility daily for cleanliness, making proper corrections in order to insure cleanliness throughout the facility/facilities. Ensures that all staff operates equipment in an efficient and safe manner, reporting all unsafe conditions to the Manager.
Experience and Skills:
- High school diploma, GED/ College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Speak and Read English
- Must have one to three years of supervisory experience in a service-related field with high customer/client contact
- Ability to supervise the work of subordinate personnel.
- Ability to train subordinate personnel with varying skill levels.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write routine correspondence.
- Ability to train subordinate personnel with varying skill levels.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Must pass Criminal/Federal Background check
- Must Pass Drug Test
- Must have two forms of valid ID and authorized to work
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods employee may be required to climb or balance; bending, stooping, kneel, crouch or crawl, reaching up, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
