POM Wonderful is a rapidly growing, fun, fast-paced, consumer-driven food and beverage company, located in West Los Angeles and is the Nation’s largest producer of the Wonderful Variety of Pomegranates. The company also produces a line of all-natural 100% pomegranate juices that are currently available in the distinctive double bubble bottle, POM tea, and POMx, natural pomegranate polyphenol supplements. POM has recently launched sales in Japan and is looking for an Accounting Intern to assist in with Accounting and Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Setup wire payments online
- Entering sales orders and posting payments
- Entering invoices and payments for Accounts Payable
- Entering inventory adjustments
- Account reconciliations
- Interpret/translate invoices
- Manage inventory levels at various warehouses
Job Requirements:
- Must be fluent in speaking, reading, writing Japanese including common business and accounting terms
- Able to work flexible hours, sometimes evenings to coordinate with operations in Japan
- Intermediate Excel skills required
Education and/or Experience
- Accounting major or emphasis
- Completed Intermediate Accounting courses
- Completed Cost Accounting a plus
