Japanese Speaking Assistant Tax Advisor

The Expatriate Tax groups comprise of 340 tax professionals across the UK and focus on specific markets: Financial Services, FTSE 100, FTSE 350 and Far Eastern inbounds. You'll be working alongside recognised leaders in this field, gaining market leading technical expertise and will also benefit from regular internal team training and formal specialist training. We can also offer opportunities for internal and external secondments including client and overseas.

Your responsibilities as a Japanese speaking Assistant Tax Advisor will include:

- Providing "technical" support to more senior members of staff, with the longer-term aim of developing into a "tax professional"

- Building and maintaining tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service

- Building relationships both within the firm and externally with clients

- Assisting in managing the successful delivery of tax projects and ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken

- Taking responsibility for day-to-day delivery of client liaison

- Assisting in providing full tax services to a client portfolio.

Qualifications/skills you'll need as a Japanese speaking Assistant Tax Advisor:

- Team player, with the ability to integrate with new teams quickly

- Outgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output

- Expatriate Tax experience desirable, but not essential as full training will be given

- Fluency in Japanese essential

- Experience of working in a Japanese organisation desirable

- Good numerical skills; study support may be available towards the ATT or CTA as applicable.
