Japnese Equity Analyst | Associate – VP | Multi
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most successful and diverse fund management companies currently operating in Asia.
They are currently expanding their Investment Analysis team at the Junior-Mid level, and are seeking candidates who have excellent research capabilities. They are mainly focusing on Japanese Equity markets and are therefore seeking candidates with skills in this area, however exceptional candidates coming from a more varied background with Fluency in Japanese are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Cross-Sector Fundamental analysis of Companies currently in the firm's portfolio using PnL Analysis, Cash flow analysis, advanced forecasting models
- Broad market analysis to identify current trends and opportunties that could arise
- Assist with research and analysis of potential investments in the Equity markets
- Work closely with Senior Analyst and Portfolio Managers to develop your investment skills
- Prepare analysis packages for Portfolio Managers, Sales Staff and Senior Management
- Use initiative, market knowledge and your investment skills to identify current opportunities in the market
Requirements
- Between 2-5 years buy/sell side Equity Research experience with a Tier-1 Financial Institution. Candidates with experience in the Japanese market will have an added advantage
- University Educated, obtaining at least a Bachelor's from a Top-Tier University
- Fluency in Japanese is Essential for this Role as all the firms client are Japanese and a number of trips to the country will be part of the role
- Excellent computational and quantitative research skills
