Java Algorithmic Developer
Looking to expand their in-house Java algorithmic trading development in Asia, Their algorithmic trading platform is designed and built entirely in-house and is responsible for the execution of a considerable portion of their trading business in Asia.
This is a high-visibility role and would suit a technologist in possession of a clear understanding of equity trading and a proven track record of delivering high quality technology products in Java. Effective written and verbal communication with clients, internal trade desks and senior management is a prerequisite. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively at these different levels.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant numerate discipline e.g. Maths, Computer Science etc.
- Strong core Java skills (3+ years relevant professional experience)
- Proven track record of delivering technology products
- Development background in banking/finance
- Knowledge of Asian/Global equity market structures
- Business knowledge of cash equities and equity trading
- Knowledge of execution-focused algorithmic trading strategies
Advantageous:
Experience in an algorithmic trading environment
