Job description
The Intelligent Operations Center development team is looking for an application programmer interested in developing the User Interface for upcoming releases of the Intelligent Operations Center. Selected applicant will get to work with development experts located across multiple IBM sites developing new portlets using Dojo, Java, and other Web technologies that will offer our customers a best-of-breed user interface for their users. You'll have a chance to work with multiple customer opportunities to gather real-time feedback on current development prototypes to help mold the requirements for upcoming releases. Your scope of ownership will include the full lifecycle - design, code, unit test, and support.
This is an exciting position in a fast-paced organization for someone interested in expanding their technical skills while also gaining experience into real customer requirements.
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic knowledge in Java development
- Basic knowledge in General object oriented programming techniques
- Basic knowledge in Linux system administration skills
- Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- At least 6 months experience in Java development
- At least 6 months experience in General object oriented programming techniques
- At least 6 months experience in Linux system administration skills
