Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Java Systems Analyst to join our high profile client.
Our client provides global technology services to the financial services industry specifically providing innovation, competitiveness and responsive IT that truly enables financial services. Their clients are the major investment banks and Asset Managers.
You will provide technical services to product development, customer support and client projects through in depth knowledge of the wealth management applications, code development, system design, operating system design and software applications.
• Systems analysis and design
• System configuration
• Application program design and development
• Data conversion and implementation
• Installation evaluation and improvement
• Software Development
• Implementation of new functionality within a greenfield product set.
This role is a perfect stepping stone to custom architecture in the financial services space.
Candidates must have:
§ Proven experience in developing Java
§ Experience in web and application development using Java EE
§ Ideally GWT
§ Experience of JUnit/TDD, Spring , Hibernate, SOA/webservices , GWT , AJAX
§ Good knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, XML and associated processing technologies.
§ Experience in Object Oriented design environment
§ Experience in design methodologies (UML, Component Design Tools, etc.)
§ Knowledge of Application servers such as Jboss/Websphere/Weblogic
§ Experience of development on UNIX Windows Server
