JAVA / C++ Developer recruitment
In this attractive position you design and implement cutting-edge applications to automate international trading processes in close cooperation with the traders. Responsibilities include day-to-day support as well as project based activities. You will design tools from scratch and fine-tune existing applications. You will operate close to the business and strive to anticipate evolving trader- and market-demands.
You have full knowledge of the development lifecycle and are able to design, implement, test, benchmark, deploy and document changes. In this role you will be challenged to strike a perfect balance between deadlines and long-term sustainability. Other responsibilities will include support, developing maintenance scripts and monitoring IT-related trends.
Requirements
- At least 4 to 5 years hands-on experience In JAVA and C++ development;
- Ability to divide your time between day-to-day development support (60%) and projects (40%)
- Understanding of the Financial industry and products;
- Experience in either windows and / or UNIX/Linux platform;
- Practical experienced with Bloomberg tools;
- Knowledge of Database Administration;
- Ability to formulate out-of-the-box solutions that optimize systems performance.
- Outgoing, decisive, analytical and innovative are competences that you possess.
- Strong preference to work in a volatile working-environment
- A hands-on and pragmatic attitude
- Fluent English communication skills
- Experience with FIX Protocol and broker APIs are a plus.
