Java / C## Senior Development Manager
Senior development manager is required to own technical delivery around the related platforms supporting the Collateral and Client Valuation functions within the bank
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To deliver against a technical platform strategy in line with business requirements and architectural direction.
- To execute planned enhancements and bug fixes in line with the prioritised book of work alongside larger project bases deliveries.
- To implement a robust performance and capacity plan for the platforms, ensuring that technical and business volume changes continue to perform within appropriate boundaries.
- To ensure strong vendor management processes around areas such as patch delivery, regression testing, licensing, support levels and strategic partnerships.
- To drive and ensure rigorous development standards are maintained for all build activities with high levels of build and release automation.
- To improve the current platform installation, driving out weak and non-scalable points.
- To develop core platform, analysis and development skills in the offshore team.
- To continually improve delivery efficiency and quality via targeted measures and programs.
- To take a leadership role in the future developments around the related technical platforms.
- Partner production support teams to ensure problem management processes are robust and transparent to business stakeholders.
SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands on experience of developing and supporting technology (Java/C#) solutions for Collateral and Client Valuation functions.
- Strong experience knowledge around Sentry platform.
- Good knowledge of middle and back office processing flows for related business functions.
- Strong SDLC experience.
- Strong communicator, able to converse in appropriate levels of detail with COO group, Front Office traders, Middle Office/Operations analysts, Product Controllers, Production Support teams, Local IT Management and relevant heads of business functions.
- Strong people leadership skills.
