Overview:
Java developer required for Rates Cash Trade Processing platform. This role would involve strong real time development and object oriented skills and a proven ability to turn high level specification into high quality solutions in tight deadlines.
Hands on development working in a strong technical team. Development of a new Trade Processing platform across Fixed Income flow products. Ability to write high performance real time solutions working across teams to solve problems from to back.
Role / Principal Accountabilities:
• Develop and extend server side frameworks for the Rates Trade Processing platform.
• Business service development in close collaboration with front office and middle office.
• Experience of some exchange connectivity, Markitwire or Fasttrack or Credit derivatives.
Skills Experience Required:
Essential:
• Java 1.6 including multithreading
• Spring
• Object Oriented design and development
• Database skills
Desirable:
• List Fasttrack
• Markitwire
• Hibernate frameworks
• J2EE
• Tibco RV and EMS
• UDB / Sybase knowledge
• C# and .Net
Knowledge Required:
Essential:
• Experience of full project lifecycle (requirements, design, development, tesing, deployment, version control)
Desirable:
• Experience of investment banking, especially Rates
• Front Office Electronic Trading systems
