An opportunity for an outstanding Java developer with both server side core Java and Java web development skills is sought by the top investment bank to join their compliance team and build a suite of strategic greenfield systems.
Following on from major developments in the compliance and regulatory reporting area, the bank is seeking to develop new ways to track and prevent corporate crime and unethical activity. In response the compliance team is currently doing some interesting things using the latest developments in AI and machine learning and would be keen to see anyone with experience in this area.
They are looking a Java developer with 2 to 6 years development experience in core and web Java (the tech stack is a 50 / 50 split) to take part in the design and development of a web-based search and reporting system. Web-wise the requirement is for someone with solid JSPs, Ajax, Tomcat, Spring and Hibernate. The team makes full use of the agile suite and is specifically looking for someone with commitment to TDD.
