Java Developer – Delta1 Execution – Hong Kong – Senior Associate recruitment
Our client is a leading global financial institution. This role is situated in a Delta1 team focusing on derivative products across all Asia markets. The environment is technology driven and the development of trading software are used to create a competitive market.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Building out trading/execution functionality
- Provide technical and business domain leadership to shape development. So for example if they want to add basket trading to the platform this developer will have their own ideas of how to do that.
Requirements of the role:
- Extensive Java development experience
- Familiar with market data and execution infrastructure in Asia
- Knowledge of Asian exchange specifics for markets such as Taiwan, India, Korea, etc.
- Experience operating and building real-time trading systems. Knowledge of principal trading systems a plus
- Familiar with regulatory requirements such as short-selling, position keeping, PT flagging, etc.
- Familiarity with middle office booking flow highly beneficial
- Highly organized and detail oriented
