Harrington Starr is working with a leading Financial Trading Systems Consultancy, with a focus on Murex, to find a Java Developer to join their team working onsite at a Tier 1 Investment Bank.

As the Java Developer (Murex, J2SE, J2EE, SQL, Core Java) you will be working in a team with leading experts in the Murex Trading Systems and will be able to learn and develop on the system. No previous experience in Murex is required and this is a great opportunity for you to pick up one of the most valuable skills in the financial industry. You will be a in a client facing role, on-site at an Investment Bank, working on complex projects ranging from integrations to building new features and functionality.

This consultancy is Murex experts and is looking for a developer who is keen to learn and develop their career. They are willingly to put the time and effort into training someone for the role and giving them the skills needed to succeed.

They are particularly in interest in anyone from a consultancy background with a good understanding of Java and who is keen to learn.

* Good experience in Java Development (J2SE, J2EE) - Essential
* Good educational background, ideally a 2.1. from a well known University - Essential
* Experience working for a Consultancy - Highly Beneficial
* Knowledge of Java Technologies such as Spring, Hibernate or Maven - Beneficial
* Knowledge of SQL - Beneficial
