Our client is a market leader in e-commerce systems; they are looking for Java developer with web development experience.

Job Description

They are currently embarking on several exiting new projects and are currently looking for a Java / J2EE developer. This will be a career enhancing opportunity for Java / J2EE developers with several years of commercial experience. Technologies used will include JBoss, Tomcat, J2EE, Java.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally you would have the following skills and experience:

• 3-5 years Java / J2EE commercial development experience
• Demonstrate a good understanding of JDBC SQL
• Experience with Servlet, JSP, JSTL, Struts and/or Spring
• Strong understanding of XML technologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• Great communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Desire to deliver quality projects in a corporate environment

In addition, it will be highly regarded if you have the following skills:

• Experience with JBPM Commercial experience with payment technologies
• Software development experience on a Linux/UNIX platform
• Understanding of JavaScript/AJAX using JQuery or similar technologies
