Java Developer / Agile Guru recruitment
A Java developer with extensive experience of agile methods, particularly TDD and Continuous Integration, is needed to join a new team within Equity Derivatives at a tier-one investment bank. This is a completely Greenfield, Java development project and the team will be agile to the letter so there will be no Project Managers or BAs.
The Java developer will be responsible for, along with the Lead Java Developer, gathering requirements from the business, both the traders and external clients. Then the Java team will design and build the application from scratch using Core Java, TDD and Continuous Integration. This is a unique opportunity to get involved with a cutting edge, agile team on a Greenfield project in an investment bank.
The successful Java developer must be an agile guru. It is essential that the Java developer have extensive experience working in a very agile environment with full exposure to all agile methods – TDD, Scrum, Paired Programming and so on. You will be continuously talking to the business so it is essential that the Java developer be an excellent communicator.
