Java Developer Bond Pricing £40k recruitment
Excellent Entry Level role available for Java Developer with minimum 2 years experience.
This is your chance to break in to the financial sector and become an expert in the Bond Pricing field, as well as having the chance to work with some of the most talented Java Developers in the market.
The organisation is extremely successful and has been since it began with some very experienced banking professionals at the helm. They have grown the business exponentially and are still going!
The successful candidate will join the Bond Pricing team - this covers Structured Finance, Municipal Bonds and Corporate Bond Assets. You will be working on a team of 18 developers - this is a global team so your communication skills have to be exceptional. You also have to liaise with product managers and financial analysts.
There will be a strong focus on the Reference Cashflow Data area - you will work on developing software for a range ofbond cashflow products.
You must have the following to apply for this role:
Excellent knowledge of Java - core Java, multithreading, fundamentals
Database theory - SQL, Stored Procedures, Data Manipulation
Exceptional academics - 2.1 or above from reputable university or equivalent.
The following are nice to have:
General knowledge of things like Swing, Groovy, Http or Guava.
Knowledge of finance - Fixed Income and or pricing is a plus, however all you really need is a strong desire to learn about the banking business!
