JAVA Developer – Boston financial firm
Sizable financial firm seeks mid-level and senior software developers whose responsibilities will include development of sophisticated web, decision support, business intelligence and investment management/trading applications that will help users with presentation and data manipulation layers.
Position requirements:
• at least 5 years of software development experience
• Solid experience with eithe server side Java or GUI development (JQuery, etc.)
• Strong object oriented programming concepts and understanding of design patterns
• Thorough understanding of presentation, web, business and data access layers
• Experience with Servlets, Tomcat, Perl, Sybase
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly self-disciplined, detail and results-oriented
