Java Developer (Fixed Income, London, £75k)
A leading global Investment Bank is seeking an experienced Java Developer to work on a major Trade Capture/Trade Entry application that serves the Fixed Income Front Office.
This is hands on coding role, but will also involve other responsibilities such as working with the Business Analysts to understand requirements and technical specifications, mentoring more junior developers, and contributing towards aspects of design and testing when necessary.
To succeed in this role you must be able to demonstrate the following -
- Expert Core Java knowledge, including multi-threading
- Experience of working on a low-latency, high throughput application
- Experience of working with relational databases such as SQL Server or Sybase.
- Knowledge of Messaging Middleware such as Tibco or Solace
- Experience of working on Linux
- Previous experience in a Front Office role within an Investment Bank
- A commercial knowledge of various Fixed Income products, such as Government Bonds, Corporate Bonds, High-Yield Bonds etc.
Location - London
Salary - £55,000 - £75,000
