Java Developer for fast growing international software vendor recruitment
Excelsior’s client is a well established and market leading provider of innovative and adaptable enterprise banking software systems for financial institutions. With a global Tier 1 client base including JP Morgan and HSBC they are very successful and still experiencing high growth internationally.
The company is currently building out a new development office on the East Coast and has multiple requirements for experienced Java Developers. This team will be responsible for software upgrades and new development, with the implementation of robust and efficient code against a design in a timely manner.
Appropriate applicants will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors degree
- Over 4 years Java development experience with some JEE / J2EE experience
- Oracle RDBMS experience preferred, but good experience in Sybase or SQL also fine
- Experience of Application Servers such as WebLogic or WebSphere desirable
- Some XML experience
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills for interaction both internally and externally
- Experience with banking / financial systems is an advantage but not essential. This role presents an opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to move into and develop their career in the high value financial sector.
