Java Developer - Front Office Algorithmic Trading - Top Tier Investment Bank
Java developer is required by this Tier 1 Investment Bank to joing their front office Algorithmic Trading team.
The team is positioned on the trading floor with the e-FX and Equities trading teams so knowledge of either asset class is preferred.
Required Skills include
- Exceptional Core Java
- Java based Socket development
- Knowledge of financial communication protocol, e.g. FIX
- Messaging middleware
- Knowledge of tick databases, ideally KDB and q
- Experience of Algorithmic trading systems
- Experience of heavily multithreaded, low-latency systems
