Front Office Trading systems Development role
Java and/or C++
Leading Global trading systems house is looking to expand their development team here in Sydney, so we are looking for the best Java and/or C++ Developers in the Australian market - to further develop and enhance their highly regarded Front Office trading and Risk Analysis systems. In this role, you will sit within the Front Office and interact and engage the trading teams on a daily basis.
Key Duties and Accountabilities:
- Developing new, and make improvements to a suite of Real-Time Trading and Risk Analysis applications
- Work closely with the traders to capture requirements
- Work closely with other developers within a high pressured fast paced environment
- Participate in discussion around architecture and design, ensuring that it meets short term and long terms business goals
- Work with other development teams located across several other countries
The following experience and skills are required:
- Strong in Java and/or C++ programming skills
- Development experience in a UNIX / Linux environment
- Extensive Object Oriented programming and design
- Trading systems development experience is mandatory
- SQL skills required
- Full SDLC experience
- Knowledge of Algorithms preferred
- Trading instruments such as equities and derivatives would be a distinct bonus
