Harrington Starr has partnered with a financial technology management information provider to find a Senior Java Developer (J2SE) to join the London based development team that works with buy and sell side transaction data from their clients around the world.
As the Java Developer (Core Java) your day to day activities will be full project life cycle development, which includes gathering requirements, research and design, implementation and testing as well as deployment. You will work in a team orientated agile environment closely with the architects to test as you develop through the projects and additional feature work. Using concurrent core java experience to develop highly scalable solutions, which can be rolled out to various clients.
Key requirements;
* 3+ Years Concurrent Java J2SE Development Experience (Essential)
* Strong OOP background (Required)
* Passionate technologist (Beneficial)
* Spring MVC, Hibernate, Widget, XML, UML experience (Beneficial)
* No financial experience required
* Strong communication skills (Required)
