Java Developer – Fund Manager
My client is a leading force in the asset management space and an exciting opportunity has come up for a talented Java Application Developer to join their highly skilled architects and software developers.
This is an exciting role that focuses on technology innovation and will allow the right person to grow their skills and career.
Responsibilities
• Research new and innovative technologies.
• Developing exciting new applications that are applicable across different technologies.
• Design and develop framework components and reusable modules.
• Providing support and training to teams in the relevant teams.
• Following an Agile based software development model.
Requirements
• Deep understanding of Java, JEE, JVM Ecosystem and Object Orientated design skills.
• Knowledge of design patterns and exposure to Open Source software frameworks.
• Exposure to of some or all of the following frameworks; Spring 3, Hibernate, jQuery, Grails.
• Test driven mind-set ideally with some experience with Test Driven Development.
• Exposure to automated build tools and continuous integration (Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus etc.)
• Knowledge of front end web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
