Java Developer- High Performance/Grid Computing recruitment
This is a role to work within a derivative trading group at a leading financial institution, working across their highly distributed infrastructure in a fast passed and analytically focused environment. The Core Java Developer- Distributed/ High Performance/ Grid Computing will be responsible for significant optimisation, handling market data and distribution, as well as software for their computational distributed grid and pricing engine . There is also the opportunity for the individual to lead the responsibility for a component of the system within this group, depending on their performance and experience.
Technical requirements for Core Java Developer- Distributed/ High Performance/ Grid Computing
• Core Java
• Spring/ Hibernate
• JBOSS
• JUnit4, Fitnesse, Hudson CI
• XML, JAXB, JSON serialization
• Grid technologies, GridGain
• Computer Science/Engineering/Math/Physics background.
Primarily, the Core Java Developer- Distributed/ High Performance/ Grid Computing needs to have had experience developing robust applications in Core Java. The ideal candidate would have done this within a financial environment and have a good understanding of Distributed/ High Performance/ Grid Computing. If the candidate has enough experience and is interested in doing so, there is the chance to lead part of the larger group for specific projects within this space.
