An investment banking client of mine is seeking a number of talented developers to create a high-profile team tasked with building a prototype risk engine, and to deliver the first phase production release covering exotic interest rate and inflation derivatives.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly challenging project from the outset.
The role is very demanding as it is high profile project for the bank and extremely challenging as the problems are very complex. The role involves working in partnership with FO quants, system architects and the High Performance Computing team.
Requirements:
Technical Knowledge:
• Java development skills
• Practical experience of multithreaded, asynchronous and distributed systems
• Familiar with source code control tools and practices
• Familiar with software development and system architecture patterns
• Test driven software development practitioner
• Ideally worked previously for an investment bank on successful large scale/complex projects
• Experienced with all software development lifecycle phases (requirements, development, testing, delivery, post go-live support)
• Familiar with code documentation tools and techniques
